Abstract

In 1979, the Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology (SSIT) set out with the mission of preparing the youth of India for Inner Light, Integration, and Prosperity. In the 33 years since its inception, SSIT has grown to house over 2,000 students and 120 faculty members. It currently runs undergraduate courses in a bachelor of engineering program as well as master's programs in computer applications and technology. The college has promoted lEducation for Social and Economical Transformations,r a theme that is embodied by the institut's Student Branch (SB).
