Abstract
To celebrate IEEE Day, the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) Student Branch Chapter (SBC) at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering (SJCE) in India hosted three events. The first event was on 8 October 2022 and was a virtual event called Quizzly Bears. It focused on technical quizzes with topics such as e-vehicles, solar power, and high voltage transmission. The second event was Artlingg, a poster-making event that took place on 9 October 2022. The last event took place on 10 October 2022 and was an in-person event called bombsquad. During this event, attendees participated in a team-based guessing game where each team was given different situations and had to figure out where the bombs were located. The IEEE PELS SBC at SJCE is looking forward to hosting more events like these in the future.
