Abstract
The PARADISE project is in need of a solution for a very specific set of requirements regarding identity and access management (IAM), in particular for the identity and attribute delegation and the authentication of users and roles within the competitive sport setting. Additionally, athletes have to share whereabouts information with doping control officers. Due to the complex relationship between entities in the doping control use case, innovative authorization solutions regarding location and role information are required. In this article, we present our response to this challenge using decentralized attribute-based access control (ABAC) and access control based on whereabouts using geofences.
