Abstract
Abstract As part of the effort to find more effective methods for teaching foreign languages, this study focuses on the role and impact of digital books within the Albanian educational context, with particular emphasis on pedagogical practices related to the teaching of foreign languages in general and French language in particular. Using a mixed methodological approach, both quantitative and qualitative, including surveys of teachers, interviews, and analysis of data collected during classroom observations, this study assesses how the use of digital technologies, including digital books, influences student engagement and their achievements in language learning. The data analysis shows a positive correlation between the use of digital books and the improvement of students’ performance in various language skills. The integration of digital technologies not only increases engagement and performance but also contributes to the development of a more personalized and autonomous approach to teaching.
