Abstract

Abstract In the present work, the property degradation of the fabricated E-glass and Aramid fabrics reinforced with epoxy resin hot setting composite laminates of four different compositions manufactured by compression moulding are tested for their mechanical properties. Further the specimens are investigated as a function of temperature to study the moisture gain trends at different temperatures such as 40 ℃, 55 ℃ and 70 ℃. It is concluded that E-glass (87%) with Aramid (13%) shows increased results in mechanical properties
