Abstract

The authors describe the benefits of vehicles with hybrid power unit (GSU), consider the schemes of hybrid propulsion vehicles. The article presents a design developed by the experimental all-wheel drive vehicle with hybrid power plant, made by a parallel circuit; description of the experimental vehicle test bench for fuel economy and emissions, held at the Federal State Unitary Enterprise NITSIAMT; the results of tests confirming the reduction of fuel consumption and emissions of cars with hybrid powerplant.
