Abstract
Eosinophilic pustular folliculitis(EPF) is a rare non-infectious chronic folliculosis of unknown cause with recurrent crops ofpruritic, folliculocentric, sterile papulopustules on the seborrheic zones and a prominent eosinophilic infiltrate. EPF can beclassified into three variants: classic type(Ofuji’s disease), human immunodeficiency virus-associated type(HIV-associatedeosinophilic folliculitis, HAEF), and infantile type. HAEF represents the different clinical features compared with classic type. Weherein report one case of HAEF occurring in a 38-year-old man who had a myriad of extremely itchy follicular papulopustules, nodules, wheal-like non-follicular papules, excoriation and crusts on his face, neck, torso and proximal limbs. The skin biopsytaken from a papular lesion on the chest revealed HAEF.
