Abstract

Bullying is a phenomenon that often occurs in adolescents, especially in elementary, junior high, high school, and even in college environments, there are still frequent bullying cases. The perpetrator of this bullying can attack the heart, physically, and the worst is the victim's mentality. When a person is mentally attacked, it will affect the person's level of self-confidence, even in the most severe cases, the victim of bullying can attempt suicide. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between bullying and a person's self-confidence. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach to students. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between bullying and one's self-confidence. Suggestions for youth not to be easily swayed by someone's words and seek an appropriate environment of friendship
