Abstract

The Personnel and Guidance JournalVolume 54, Issue 5 p. 257-260 How May I Understand You? Let Me Count the Ways Fred B. Newton, Fred B. Newton Assistant Professor Fred B. Newton: is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling and Human Development Services at the University of Georgia in Athens. There he teaches group procedures, student development in higher education, and counseling practicum. He has worked in the public schools, in a community college, and in the university setting as a teacher, an activities director, and a counseling psychologist. He is actively involved with national committees of the American College Personnel Association and is the editor of the Georgia CPA newsletter. The author is very much involved in the process of humanizing education as a part of his vocation and as a part of his personal development as well.
