Abstract

Red tide occurs usually every years in the south sea of Korea and causes damage to a fishing farm, and it researched to analyze the spatial characteristics and the movement characteristics of red tide are continuing. In this study, the occurrence of blooming of Cochlodinium polykrikoides in the south sea of Korea, 2013 was analyzed with the temporal-spatial terms during the period of red tide occurrence. In addition, the changes from red tide occurrence and disappear period are analyzed. As a result of analyzing using Standard Deviation Ellipse and Hotspot analysis, moving were found to extend from the western area of the South Sea to the eastern area of the South Sea at the time of occurrence of red tide. In the red tide Extinction period, we could see that the centroid moved to the west again.
