Abstract
Through this study the author examines generational similarities and differences hospitality employees have of dissatisfaction and intent to leave their organization. Leaders in the hospitality industry recognize that the ability to source and retain employees long-term is fundamental to improving customer services and achieving expected financial returns. In this study the author investigated, through survey instrumentation, the workplace perspectives of 885 hospitality industry employees pertaining to multigenerational groupings. The information from this study helps guide hospitality industry leaders and human resource professionals in developing policies, processes, and practices that create a productive work environment and employees integrated across multigenerational groupings.
