Abstract
Le Livre de l'hospitalité (1991), published two months after Edmond Jabès's death, is a testamentary work embracing a variety of the strategies and themes that animated his poetics from the 1940s onward. Jabès invokes hospitality as the crucial term of this volume, conceiving it as a reciprocal and affiliative gesture.
