Abstract
Hybrid mice of the F1, F2, and F3 generations were produced from an initial cross of inbred strains C57BL/6 and BALB/c. Orthotopic female tailskin grafts of one F1 donor of 167, two F2 donors of 218, and no F3 donors of 218 were found to be rejected by F1 female hosts. The rejections could be attributed to mutation; otherwise, the results upheld the genetic laws of transplantation.
