Abstract

Clinical approbation of high-resolution rhythmocardiography (RCG) and analysis of heart rate variability (HRV) were performed to assess the cardiovascular status in real time before, during, and after coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG) performed for myocardial revascularization in patients (pts) with unstable angina. At each stage of the operation, a characteristic pattern of violation of the HRV wave structure was observed on the rhythm cardiogram (ECG). Most of the arrhythmias on the ECG were associated with the surgeon’s manipulations during CABG. The RCG method with high resolution showed minimal pathological changes in HRV. A standard assessment of the cardiovascular system was performed, 123 patients were evaluated by RCG using HRV analysis. Before, during (in monitor mode), and after the operation, the original hardware and software computer complex was applied. Thus, the high-resolution RCG method can be used to diagnose the cardiovascular status in real time during CABG surgery.
