Abstract
The Soteropolitan territory expands concurrently with inequality and socio-spatial segregation, latent disparities between districts, the allocation of public resources and the allocation of equipment. The article aims to compare two opposing economic classes, the districts of Graca and Sao Tome de Paripe, regarding the sense of security, from the perception of their residents. To meet the objective we sought to work with field research, application of questionnaires from both districts, in order to capture the perception of residents. Thus, it is possible to ratify that the sense of violence, growing in the soteropolitano territory, is present in all social extracts.
