Abstract

AbstractThe existence of two helicon resonances with opposite polarization has been observed in HgTe samples. In order to explain these experimental results the theory of the helicon propagation in a two‐component plasma has been extended to the case of low mobilities. Numerical results of this theory are in qualitative agreement with the experiments.
