Abstract
Abstract The complex helicon resonant frequency ω = ω r + j ω 1 of square and cylindrical samples of PbTe single crystals is measured. The variation of ω caused by the sample geometry is compared with the theory of helicon wave propagation in a uniform cylindrical plasma with axial magnetic field.
