Abstract
Application of conductive coating solutions for transparent heating film has been actively researched and developed on academia and industry. In this work, transparent heating films were fabricated using the conductive coating solutions of silver nanowires and poly(p-phenylene vinylene) as a conducting polymer, and the heating characteristics was investigated on these films deposited on transparent substrates made of polyethylene terephthalate. The transparent heating films were prepared by changing the stacking order and the number of layers of silver nanowire and conducting polymer, and the structure and characteristics of the films were analyzed. The electrical resistance and the light transmittance decreased linearly with the stacking number of a film. The heating temperature of transparent heating film increased proportionally with DC voltage applied, regardless of the stacking order. Furthermore, it was found that bending durability of transparent heating films was significantly influenced by the stacking order of the film.
