Abstract
Abstract HASTELLOY alloy-C is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium-iron alloy, highly resistant to strongly oxidizing acids, acid mixtures, and salts as well as chlorine and chlorine-bearing compounds, and with excellent properties as high temperatures. The strength and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures are also outstanding. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness and creep. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Ni-23.
