Abstract

Summary In 1996, the prohibition of the cultivation of plants of the species Cannabis sativa L. (so-called fibre hemp) with minor content of the psychoactive ∆ 9 -tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) was lifted. Nowadays, a wide variety of hemp food products is offered on the market.
