Abstract
Human talent management in Ecuadorian companies faces multiple challenges, including economic constraints, restrictive labor regulations, and a hierarchical organizational culture. Despite these obstacles, companies are adopting advanced technologies and promoting the development of specific competencies and more horizontal structures to improve competitiveness. Investments in training programs, although still insufficient, are beginning to show positive results in productivity and job satisfaction. In addition, labor flexibility and transformational leadership are emerging as key strategies for overcoming resistance to change and fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement. Improved internal communication and increased investment in training are essential to enhance talent development and retention. The implementation of public policies and institutional support that promote tax incentives, training programs and public-private partnerships is recommended to strengthen talent management in the country.
