Abstract

In this study, process-fortified assessment materials utilizing GeoGebra, a mathematics learning software, were developed and applied to an experimental class. Using GeoGebra’s “Navigation Bar” and “Construction Protocol” functions enabled us analyze the performance results of students’ assignments in a process-oriented manner.
Moreover, the analysis confirmed that the experimental class using the assessment materials was effective in inducing students’ confidence and interest in mathematics. Additionally, examining the students’ reviews revealed that this experimental class exerted positive effects in terms of cognitive and affective aspects, and the possibility of process-fortified assessment utilizing GeoGebra’s “Navigation Bar” and “Construction Protocol” functions was confirmed.
