Abstract

Considering the issues of self-realization of young people in modern socio-economic and information and communication conditions, the article pays special attention to the representatives of generation Z, whose specific features are predetermined by the intensity of the development of digitalization and the media environment. The authors of the article consider the generational approach as a relevant tool for creating effective programs and projects for the implementation of the state youth policy in accordance with the demands of the time. The theory of generations, considered in the article as a methodological basis, determines attention to the issues of intergenerational communications and innovative educational practices, their transformation and virtualization. The interpenetration of managerial and pedagogical aspects in the socio-cultural sphere noted in the article determines the need to clarify the directions for the development of state youth policy, in accordance with which the main processes of self-realization of the new generation and its integration into the overall picture of the sociocultural space are conducted. Outlining the prospects, the authors of the article put forward proposals for balancing the key areas of youth policy focused on generation Z.
