Abstract
The article presents the results of the development of the expert system software module based on fuzzy logic methods, which allows calculating the most profitable alternative based on a certain evaluation matrix of alternatives and criteria, and certain selection rules. The problem of increasing the efficiency of decision-making of various tasks with the help of a fuzzy expert system is solved. The paper shows the implementation of one of the modules of the expert system using the fuzzy logic apparatus in order to select a journal to publish an article.
