Abstract

Riots of young people in the suburbs of a number of cities in France, where large diasporas of immigrants from Arab-Muslim countries are concentrated, largely repeat similar events in 2005. This reflects the crisis of education and social mobility, and ultimately the crisis of the entire party-political system of the Fifth Republic.
