Abstract

The article analyzes and summarizes modern approaches to the formation of professional and valuable orientations among future construction workers during the study of humanitarian disciplines at the higher technical educational institution (as an example of the Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture). The authors substantiate the essence of the concepts “value”, “valuable orientations”, “professional and valuable orientations”, then clarify the content of the concept of “professional and valuable orientations of future specialists”, outline the methods and forms of the educational process, which ensure the formation of professional and valuable orientations among future specialists of construction specialties. The article emphasizes the idea that the study of humanitarian disciplines in the context of the formation ofprofessional and valuable orientations among future specialists should take into account three pedagogical conditions: an axiological approach, a system of pedagogical technologies (imitation learning methods, electronic educational tools, cognitive technology) and extracurricular work as well.
