FONTES PARA A HISTÓRIA DAS INSTITUIÇÕES ESCOLARES NO NORTE PIONEIRO DO PARANÁ: REFLEXÕES SOBRE UM ITINERÁRIO DE PESQUISA

Abstract

This text aims to discuss aspects of the historiographical work in the History of Education, especially about the topic of the sources to the research about the educational institutions. It is a discussion about the sources to the study of the educational institutions in the mesoregion of state of Parana called Pioneer North. The article presents, generally, the importance of the studies about the history of the educational institutions. That implies to discuss how the subject became one of the most privileged inside History of Education over the last two decades. After, in a specific way, the relevance of the research about the subject in this specific region of the State of Parana is questioned. That implies to know some of the educational reality and the local characteristics of the state’s Pioneer North. Finally, it is analyzed the potential of the research about the history of the educational institutions in the region from the research started and developed by the authors inside the Research Group “History, Society and Education in Brazil” – Work Group Pioneer North of Parana State (HISTEDNOPR). It is considered that the researches about the history of educational institutions are presented as a possibility to preserve part of the history of education and the studied institutions. Besides, it is also presented as significant to preserve the local and regional historical patrimony, because the few systematic studies about the theme in the region.
