Abstract

Mediante recolecciones en 61 localidades, se estudia la flora briofítica del Valle del Genal (Málaga, España). Un total de 154 taxones componen la diversidad briofítica del territorio, de los cuales 131 son musgos, 21 hepáticas y 2 antocerotas. Cephaloziella calyculata (Durieu et Mont.) Müll. Frib. y Geheebia erosa (J.A. Jiménez et J. Guerra) J.A. Jiménez et M.J. Cano se citan por vez primera de Andalucía. Acaulon mediterraneum Limpr. y Pohlia annotina (Hedw.) Lindb. son novedades para la flora de Málaga. Se describen las principales comunidades de briófitos del territorio, atendiendo a su comportamiento ecológico y hábitat. Through collections in 61 localities, the bryophytic flora of the Genal Valley is studied. A total of 154 taxa form the bryophytic diversity of the studied territory, 131 are mosses, 21 liverworts and 2 hornworts. Cephaloziella calyculata (Durieu et Mont.) Müll. Frib. and Geheebia erosa (J.A. Jiménez et J. Guerra) J.A. Jiménez et M.J. Cano are cited for the first time in Andalusia. Acaulon mediterraneum Limpr. and Pohlia annotina (Hedw.) Lindb. are new records for the Malaga province. Taking into account their ecological behavior and habitats, the main bryophyte communities of the territory are described.
