Abstract

Our study examines the concept of physical education of schoolchildren, the importance of this process in the modern world. It was found that physical education has a direct impact on a person’s mental abilities. The study also presents the results of a sociological survey of school students, which revealed the key indicators of the attitude of schoolchildren to physical education classes. It was proved that a positive attitude towards physical education depends on how much the child is involved in the process itself, as well as on his or her subjective opinion about sports in general.
