Abstract
This paper deals with dimensional aspects of circular column heads supporting beamless reinforced concrete monolithic (also locally supported) slabs with regard to their stressing in terms of the so-called bursting safety, and it analyses possibilities of their metrics and shape optimizing. Presented concept challenging mathematical solution for calculation of stress distribution through column head and its surrounding, based the theory of failure. Methodology of analysis provides theoretically adjusted guidance how to design and optimize column heads in economical way.
