Abstract
Abstract FEDERATED F1121 Ni is a heat-treatable aluminum-silicon-nickel-copper-magnesium alloy used for high-strength permanent-mold castings. It can be solution treated and aged, or the as-cast material can be aged to increase hardness and strength. Its uses include pistons and pulleys. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, tensile properties, and compressive and shear strength as well as fracture toughness, creep, and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Al-225.
