Abstract ALAR 00.12 is a 12% silicon-aluminum casting alloy having high corrosion resistance. It is suitable for pressure-tight and thin-wall castings. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, tensile properties, and shear strength as well as fracture toughness and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: Al-45.
