Abstract

The article presents attempts to analyze the relationship between volitional regulation and leadership potential among cadets of higher military institutions, identifies the problem of the lack of scientific work on this topic, provides a theoretical analysis of the concepts of volitional regulation and leadership, as well as their importance for cadets to develop according to the requirements of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for successful professional activity. The specifics of studying at a military university are outlined. The importance of volitional regulation and leadership potential in their interrelation and in the context of further military service and career among graduates of military universities is analyzed.
