Abstract
The features of the image contrast of nitrogen-doped multiwall carbon nanotubes (CNTs) in electrostatic force microscopy (EFM) are studied. It is established that the magnitude and shape profile of the EFM signal depend on the CNT conductivity and diameter. It is shown that an increase in the conductivity of CNT leads to increasing magnitude and variation of the shape profile of the EFM signal.
