Abstract

To provide first aid (mutual assistance) or treat self-recognized symptoms at home, you must have a home first aid kit (YES). For this study, we formulated the definition: «A first–aid kit for a child is a set of over-the-counter medicines (LP) and other pharmacy products (TAA) intended for use in children of various ages and used for first aid (or mutual assistance) and treatment of symptoms recognized by parents or other adult family members.» The purpose of our work was to identify criteria that can ensure the proper formation of YES for children. The research methodology consisted of the following stages: a survey of consumers and pharmaceutical workers; monitoring of sites offering recommendations on the preparation of a YES for children; analysis of ready-made first-aid kits for children available in the assortment of pharmacy organizations. The conducted research has shown that there are no ready-made first-aid kits on the pharmaceutical market, equipped with the necessary medicines and other TAAS, and there is also a high demand for recommendations on their preparation. Criteria have been developed that will be able to ensure the proper formation of YES for the child.
