Abstract

AbstractPurpose: The purpose of the work is to study the features of psychological prevention of destructive manifestations in the behavior of students at the stage of professional training. Given that students in the modern world live in conditions of rapid political and socio-economic changes in society, all this leads to an increase in destructive tendencies in their behavior.Design/methodology/approach: Theoretical methods (theoretical literature analysis) and empirical methods (observation, survey, testing, experiment) were used to study the problem.Findings: The work discloses the concept of “manifestations of destructive behavior of a student,” substantiates psychological conditions that ensure effective psychological prevention of the manifestation of destructive behavior of students in the process of professional training. The specifics of such behavior are that touching the emotional field of the personality, it exacerbates moral dissonance, contributes to the formation of depressive and stressful conditions.Originality/value: The obtained results urge specialists in the field of psychology to look differently at this problem and actively use the proposed recommendations for its prevention. Features of destructive manifestations in the behavior of students with different levels of aggressiveness were established. It has been shown that students with a high level of destructive manifestations in behavior are prone to open forms of aggression with a predominance of verbal and physical aggression, with a tendency to irritation, readiness to show negative emotions with even minor arousal.KeywordsDestructive behaviorTrainingPsychological preventionDevelopment of the student’s personalityEmotional sphereJEL CodeI230
