Abstract

Structural and magnetic properties of Pr{sub 0.5}Sr{sub 0.5}Mn{sub 1-x}Fe{sub x}O{sub 3} (0.0{<=}x{<=}0.3) powder samples have been investigated. Powder X-ray diffraction showed that all our synthesized samples are single phase and crystallize in the orthorhombic symmetry with Imma space group. Fe doping leads to a weakness of the ferromagnetic (FM) ordering at low temperature. With increasing Fe content, the Curie temperature T{sub c} decreases.
