Abstract

This research explored the psychosocial factors which facilitate or hinder the social re-integration of three individuals with links to the illegal armed groups (FARC-EP, UC-ELN and AUC), who are in the Villahermosa prison. These factors were: perception of the armed conflict in Colombia, perception of the group dynamic of the illegal armed group, and of the prison yard. A qualitative methodology with descriptive-exploratory design was used, and the information was gathered by means of indepth interviews, and the participants were three men in yards 2, 4, and 9.
