Abstract
Results of an extended study of the rule of constancy of Delta nu /R for constant Z for spin doublets of X-ray non-diagram (satellite) lines are reported for the first time. The rule is shown to be valid for a number of L and M spin doublets of X-ray non-diagram lines. Behaviour of the spin doublets of X-ray diagram and non-diagram lines seems to be similar in this regard.
