Abstract

The paper presents extended versions of mathematical formulations of problems of managing a fleet of railway gondola cars. As a rule, scientific papers consider relatively simple statements of transport problems that do not take into account a number of features that arise when solving real problems. Within the framework of this work, two additional constraints are studied that may be relevant in solving practical problems. This is a restriction that takes into account quality of customers who form requests for cargo transportation, and a restriction on the prohibition of double empty runs. The quality of each customer is determined by using a given customer rating, in this case, new constraint in the transport problem is set through a weighted average rating of the entire transportation plan.
