Abstract
This paper explores the opportunities for along-border opening-up in Southwest China's border areas, analyzes the advantages and challenges of this region in opening up, and proposes measures and suggestions for further tapping its potential for opening up. The geographical advantage, economic advantage, and policy advantage of this region in opening up are discussed, as well as the challenges of geographical disadvantage, economic difficulties, and cultural differences. To further tap the potential of along-border opening-up in Southwest China's border areas, the paper suggests strengthening infrastructure construction, promoting industrial upgrading, and enhancing cultural exchange. The research findings offer insights into the development prospects and trends of along-border opening-up in this region.
