Abstract

The talent cultivation concept and goal of the new liberal arts put forward practical and integrative diversified requirements for the development of foreign language colleges, that is to say, they should not only integrate multidisciplinary knowledge but also enhance professional practical skills. This paper analyzes the problems of lack of cognition, lack of hard strength, low participation and low satisfaction in practice teaching in foreign language colleges, and discusses the reform path of practice teaching in foreign language colleges under the background of new liberal arts construction from four aspects: ability cultivation, construction of practice teaching system, improvement of evaluation system and construction of teaching staff, in order to improve the quality of practice teaching in foreign language colleges. Promote the cultivation of compound, innovative and applied foreign language talents.
