Abstract

The purpose of present study was to explain the internal factors which affect improvement and promotion of educational quality from the view of students from Zanjan Azad universities. The method used in this study was survey and the data were collected through a 5-likert scale researcher-made questionnaire which included 25 items. The internal validity of questionnaire was %97. The total population for the study included all of the students studying at Zanjan Azad universities and the sample comprised of 385 individuals which were selected through random-cluster sampling method. To analyze the data the statistical indices such as frequency, mean, and standard deviation were used. The results show that from the view of students from Zanjan Azad universities among the factors effective in improvement of educational quality (teacher, student, content, and educational equipment), the factors related to the teacher were more important than the others, after that student, content, and educational equipment were important respectively. The results also show that as students believe the most important elements which could lead to the improvement of educational quality included: teachers’ familiarity with different teaching methods, balance between content on the one side and subject matter and students’ abilities on the other side, creating an atmosphere of respect and confidence to students, following the order in syllabus and presenting, discussion in the classroom, providing access to internet for students and teachers, the effects of research and teaching experiences of the teachers in enriching pamphlets, and attending to students’ welfare services.
