Abstract
The outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia, as a public health emergency, can cause adverse effects on public mental health. Anxiety, depression, insomnia, and acute stress disorder are the common psychological responses. Perinatal women, as a special susceptible population, maternal psychological protection is of great significance. Clinical experts from Peking Union Medical College Hospital as well as psychologist from the Center for Maternal and Child Health, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention offer an expert proposal for the maternal, maternal families, maternal health and mental health staff, based on maternal mental health work and related researches.
