Abstract
Objective To establish experience based training model for undergraduate nursing students, and to provide references for undergraduate nursing education reform. Method With integrated use of brainstorming, expert depth interview, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics and empirical research, we explored the four main elements in training model of nursing undergraduate students ( training objectives, curriculum, teaching methods and evaluation). Results Nursing School of Zunyi Medical College developed the nursing undergraduate training objectives, established the curriculum systems which were suitable for experiential learning, explored the experience based training methods which were suitable for nursing characteristic, tried multiple evaluation methods, and finally constructed the experience based training model for undergraduate nursing students. Conclusions Based on the four main elements of the talent training model (training objectives, curriculum, teaching methods and evaluation), the research constructed training model for nursing undergraduate students which were gradually rising (cognitive, development and mature ), Nursing School of Znnyi Medical College constructed training model for nursing undergraduates, which had improved their comprehensive capacity.
