Abstract
Objective To explore the construction and practical experience of the professional education and training model of higher vocational education in Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Shanghai Health Career Technical College. Methods Taking Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Shanghai Health Career Technical College as an example of the development model of higher vocational education and nursing specialty. After the completion of 3 years of higher vocational education courses in Shanghai Health Career Technical College students, meet the requirements of graduation, issue the Shanghai Health Career Technical College graduation certificate (higher vocational level). In the “voluntary, merit based” principle, select a certain number of students to enter after 2 years of college or undergraduate courses. Students completed the provisions of the credit, to achieve the required grade point requirements, in accordance with the People’s Republic of China, the provisions of the regulations, awarded a bachelor’s degree in science. Results Through clarifying the purpose of running a school and training objectives, perfecting the curriculum, setting up the training framework, focusing on the humanities, reforming teaching methods and so on. Conclusions The course system of the through type training model should be clearly defined, which not only emphasizes the overall quality of the training, but also highlights the improvement of practical skills and comprehensive ability, and highlights the characteristics and internationalization of Chinese medicine.
