Abstract

The purpose of present study is to detect environmental attitudes of 6th, 7th and 8th class students in Agri city primary education institutions on behavioral and mental dimension and find out the relation of attitudes with respect to several variables. In present study, as a data gathering tool, a scale consisting of environmental behavior and environmental thinking sub-titles taken from literature has been employed. The sampling of the research conducted via special case method consists of 236 students studying in the second grade of primary education institutions in city of Agri. In the study, it has been detected that as the class level of students increased, their positive environmental behaviors lessened.
