Abstract

In some organic molecular aggregates and crystals, intermolecular interaction effects play an essential role in the nonlinear optical (NLO) properties. Here, we report on the experimental results on copper phthalocyanine films, which demonstrate a significant intermolecular interaction effects on NLO properties. Results of third-harmonic generation and electro-absorption measurments are presented and discussed
