Abstract

The results of experimental studies aimed at assessing the wear resistance of composite coatings obtained by electrodeposition of electrolytes-suspensions with the addition of electroerosive powders made from waste high-speed steel grade P6M5 are presented. It has been experimentally established that the surface roughness parameter Ra of the obtained coatings is 2.14 microns, while the coefficient of friction on the path of 500 m is 0.14. It is noted that the introduction of highly solid particles of the electroerosive charge formed during the quenching of metal vapors in the working fluid during dispersion into the electrolyte increases the wear resistance of composite electrodeposited coatings.
