Abstract
Plasma sprayed thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) on based of a partially stabilised zirconia top coat were subjected to a Pulsed wave laser-glazing process in order to generate an dense and polish layer. The porosity, microhardness and fracture toughness of ceramic layer are investigated.
